Who’s the program for?
Kids who have graduated from the Sac Synchro Intermediate program and have a coach’s recommendation to move into the year-round program
Kids who have graduated from the Sac Synchro ladybug clinic and who have a coach’s recommendation to move into the year-round program
Kids who have had previous synchro experience

Program details
Swimmers swim from September – July 
Swimmers will participate in the Age Group program.  Coaches will work with the girls to assign team routines as well as extra routines i.e., Solo, Duet, Trio 
Swimmers will compete in 5-7 semi local meets a year (San Francisco, Monterey, San Jose, San Rafael and Sacramento)
Swimmers may qualify to compete in the US National Age Group Championships which is a meet that can be held anywhere in the US
At traveling meets, all girls will be required to stay with Sac Synchro.  Chaperons will be assigned to each team
Travel costs will be covered by each family.  Costs for team chaperone and coaches will be a shared expense shared by all attending that competition
Program schedule
10 & Unders 
Swimmers will swim two nights a week and Saturdays
Weeknight practice begins at 5:30 p.m. and runs to 8:00 p.m.
Saturday practice will run between 8:00 a.m. and noon.  Specific time to be determined.
Practices will be held at El Camino

11-12’s
Swimmers will swim two nights a week and Saturdays
Weeknight practice begins at 5:30 p.m. and runs to 8:00 pm
Saturday practice will run between 8:00 a.m. and noon.  Specific time to be determined.

13-15’s
Swimmers will swim three days a week and Saturdays
Week night practice begins at 5:00 pm and runs to 8:00 pm 
Saturday practice will be conducted between 7:30 am – 12:00 pm
Optional figure practices may be held
Practices will be held at Mira Loma
16 & Overs
Swimmers will swim three days a week and Saturdays
Weeknight practice begins at 5:00 pm and runs to 8:00 pm  
Saturday practice will be conducted between 7:30 am – 12:00 pm

Clothing/Equipment needed
Team Sweats consisting of a team jacket, team suit, team shirt and team swim cap must be purchased from the team
Black figure suit, black athletic pants, white cap, goggles and nose clips, may be purchased at any sporting goods store 
Sac Synchro will pay for team costumes.  Suits will either be reused from previous seasons or created new for the routine.  Extra routines suites will be the responsibility of the parents
Parent commitment
Parents will be asked to help at all meets that their daughter attend
Parents will be asked to assist with local meets that Sac Synchro hosts
Parents will be asked to help with team fundraisers
Program Costs
12 & Under: $150/swimmer per month
13 & Over:  $200/swimmer per month

Club fundraisers to offset costs
October Swim-a-thon: all monies raised go directly into your swimmers account.   Monies raised can be used to pay for team clothing or to offset monthly dues

Intermediate Synchro Program
Who’s the program for?
Kids ages 8-12
Kids who love to swim, do gymnastics, dance, or theater 
Kids who can swim 25 yards free style and must be able to swim in deep water

Program details
Swimmers swim from September 2006 – July 2007
Two evenings a week:  Tuesdays and Thursdays
Practices run from 5:30 pm -7:30 pm @ El Camino High School
Swimmers will learn beginning synchronized swim techniques, improve overall swimming skills, learn a synchro routine, team work and more
Swimmers will compete in four semi-local meets a year (San Francisco, San Jose, San Rafael and Sacramento)
Optional Saturday classes may be offered at an additional cost.  Classes such as dance, gymnastics, figures, and swim stroke improvement may be offered twice a month to those interested in attending.  Advanced sign ups and a minimum of four participants will be required to conduct the class
Clothing/Equipment needed
Team Sweats, consisting of a team jacket, team suit, team shirt and team swim cap must be purchased from SSST
Black figure suit, black athletic pants, white cap, goggles and nose clips, can be purchased at any sporting goods store 
Routine Costumes will likely be recycled from team closet or up to $50 each for modifications or inexpensive purchased suits  
Parent commitment
Parents will be asked to help at all meets their daughters attend.  Jobs include:
Team Mom
Assist meet staff as a volunteer with scoring, timing and setup
Parents may be asked to assist in other team fundraisers however participation is not mandatory
Program Cost
$100/swimmer per month
Optional Saturday class TBD
$75 Family pool assessment/registration fee, non refundable one-time annual fee

AquaSquirt Program

 

Who’s the Program for?

· All kids ages 5-10 interested in trying Synchronized Swimming.

· Kids interested in dance, gymnastics and swimming.

· Kids who are comfortable in the water and can touch the bottom of a 6ft pool.

· Kids who can swim 25 yards.

 

Program Details

Swimmers swim starting Saturday, March 1st to Saturday, June 28th
 

Swimmers will be asked to perform at the yearly water show. 

Swimmers may compete in one local meet a year and will be determined by the coach.   Possible local meet locations include: Rusch Park in Sacramento, San Francisco, Monterey, San Jose, and Los Gatos.

Travel costs, if any, will be covered by each family. 

 

Program Schedule

Swimmers will swim on Saturdays

12:00pm to 1:00pm

Practices to be held at Mira Loma High School or Hudson Pool

Rain and poor weather: as long as the pool is warm, practice will be held.

Clothing/Equipment Needed

Swim suite, caps, goggles and a noseclip.  All equipment may be purchased at any sporting goods store.

Sac Synchro will pay for team costumes that they will wear in both the show and the single competition.  Suits will either be reused from previous seasons or created new for the routine. 

Program Costs

$65/swimmer per month.

$69 registration fee, non-refundable one-time annual fee (insurance and US Synchro membership).

Optional Club Fundraisers to Offset Costs

Bingo options are available to assist with costs.  Work one shift as training; earn $35 per shift thereafter; Sundays, bi-monthly. Please contact the Fundraising chair, Pam Stains, for additional information (916-217-7728).
